Wyatt James

Here I am finally blogging and I feel like I already have so much to blog about! This is Wyatt; he is one of my sisters 4 kids! A little over a year ago my husband and I were just dating and I had to pull teeth to get him to come to the hospital to meet his ‘possible’ nephew. He says his ‘uncertainty’ was all an act: well maybe…..he was a thespian in High School. Anyhow, it was last year that I grabbed Cameron’s camera for the first time and attempted to capture…..well anything. I have to say, I was a bit nervous and at the same time excited. I absolutely LOVE kids and I loved seeing my new nephew through the camera. It was fun to allow myself to be creative and express something I love in a different way. Check out Cameron’s blog
to read about Wyatt. Here are some of my shots from that day.

Nine-ish months after that day I had married my best friend Cameron, became business partners, and jumped willingly onto our wonderfully blind rollercoaster of life. It has been WILD. Wyatt being my first photography subject was also my first ‘experimental shoot’. I made Cameron take the other 3 kids while my sister and I stayed at the house; I was free to experiment all I wanted. I was pretty nervous still being in the prenatal stages of photography but….I LOVED it! I was being creative in a new way and capturing something I love so much. Cameron is an awesome teacher and assisted me in the processing. I am excited to see where I can go from here and what new and creative things are ahead!

This look is after he threw a doll called 'Mad Cameron' (It's a doll of Van Gough that looked like Cameron when he used to have his beard) Hmmm maybe Wyatt is jealous Cameron and I are married....I know how much he loves me!!

Hi, Anna!
I met Cameron when my sisters lived in California and then when he shot each of their weddings. I was so happy when I saw through his blog that you guys got married -- even though I've never met you, I can't even imagine how sweet and wonderful you are and I really hope I get to meet you some day! I wanted to leave you a comment to say that I think you are immensely talented -- I can't believe from your pictures that you claim to be a beginner; you must have had a secret photographer life before or something.
I hope I get to meet you someday!

I think this team you and Cameron have created is awesome, and such a blessing for the two of you. Congrats on the new and exciting adventure! Your creativity and passion are already shining through! Love it! oh yeah, Luis was a Thespian in high school too!
